Nominate a Soldier or Individual
My Adopted Soldier is gathering the names of as many Irish Soldiers and Individuals as possible and we are looking for your help. We are asking teachers, schools and the general public to help us create a definitive list of Irish soldiers who fought both at home and overseas. Perhaps you have a relation who was a soldier. Perhaps you have a Great-Grandmother who was a nurse in World War 1, or you know of a local person who fought in the War of Independence. If you have a soldier or individual you would like to commemorate you can add their details here. Your school could create a classroom project by speaking to local historians and gathering a list of those who took part. Follow the steps below to add your data.
