Family background & Early life
Patrick Kenny was born late 1800's in Kingstown, Dublin. He lived a normal young life with his family in a Terraced House. His family were tradition Roman Catholics that prayed and went to mass every Sunday.
Unfortunately, there is not much known about Patrick Kenny's Adult life, he did die during the battle of the Somme.
Patrick was enlisted June 1914, he was apart of the royal Dublin Fusiliers, this regiment consisted of many irish men throught out the country. The royal Dublin Fusiliers trained in Naas, Country Kildare. The regiment joined the battle in March of 1917.
